Day of Victory

Inspired and combining forms like commedia dell’arte, physical storytelling, masked performance, clowning and puppetry , Day of Victory invokes the audience to experience the epic in everyone’s life. The play deals with Unay- a lonely man in today’s time. The play is set in a present day metropolis- resembling anywhere- be it New Delhi, New york or Belgium. The play is the episodic struggle between Unay, who works hard without finding any comfort or desire to go further, and the mind of Unay, who will stand against everything in his way to be free even against Unay himself. His imagined adventures offer violent release until the border between fantasy and reality begin to blur. A rush of images, tangled memories, revelations and lost connections- will the Odysseus of today find where he really belongs?
